ONE NIGHT only 2 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park. From here it is easy to take half and full-day trips to Rocky Mountain National Park. TWO NIGHTS at the only motel located on Colorado's largest natural lake in the heart of beautiful Grand Lake, Colorado, The western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Your cabin is also within walking distance to various activities, restaurants and shops in downtown Grand Lake. Your quaint cabin includes a bedroom with two double beds, one full bath, and a kitchen/living area which includes a sofa sleeper and TV. In the shared courtyard you'll find picnic tables and gas grills.
HORSEBACK BREAKFAST TRAIL RIDE Ride on the forested trails overlooking beautiful Grand Lake, along mountain streams and through open meadows. Wilderness areas and trails into the Rocky Mountain National Park begin right at the stables. Enjoy the peace and serenity of quiet lakes and crystal clear streams flowing through forests of fir and ponderosa. Work up healthy appetite on the ride and then enjoy all you can eat. 2HR KAYAK RENTAL Located on the shores of Grand Lake, Colorado the historic Grand Lake Marina. Rent your own kayak, or canoe and enjoy stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and the Continental Divide. With a double kayak you get all the pleasure of kayaking on Grand Lake, but with company. Sit in back and your buddy won't even know you aren't paddling.
HALF DAY WHITE WATER TRIP Located near the headwaters of the Colorado River and the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park, the Upper Colorado River whitewater rafting trips are perfect for those who want beautiful Canyon scenery and easy-to-navigate whitewater. You'll see spectacular wildflowers, sheer granite canyon walls, and forest of blue spruce and Douglas fir trees. First-time boaters and families with children give trips on this river rave reviews.
ONE NIGHT within a ten minute walk of seventeen restaurants and shopping in Winter Park. Should you prefer some solitude, you are within easy walking distance of an expansive National Forest trail system. HISTORIC TRAIN RIDE powered by a diesel locomotive. The Loop takes you between Georgetown and Silver Plume. Along the way, the tracks scale an elevation of 640 feet over mountainous terrain, requiring trestles, cuts, fills, loops, and curves totaling 3.1 miles of narrow gauge track.. This is an exceptional way to see the Clear Creek Valley. Along the route visitors may stop for a guided tour of the historic Lebanon Silver Mine (additional costs), and view wildlife in its natural habitat. Round Trip is an hour & 15 minutes
