THREE NIGHTS at the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, situated on the banks of the Yellowstone River with spectacular mountain and river views. Often referred to as the “Elk Capital of the World” with a large population of elk sharing the town with its population for much of the year. Your private cabin features a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathsroom in a roomy 2,000 square feet of space. The lodge sleeps 9 comfortably and offers amenities such as pillowtop beds, oversized casual furniture that calls you to fall on and relax, travertine fireplace with woodstove, stereo with ipod docking station and wireless internet. DOG SLEDDING/WOLF WATCHING TOUR is the ultimate Yellowstone winter experience. First thing in the morning, you will head out from you cabin, and through the Lamar Valley. The Lamar is known as the Serengetti of North America. You will stop in the Lamar for a few hours and set up scopes to watch natures magic unfold. Your guide has seen up to 38 wolves in one day! At mid-day as the sun gets higher, you will head into the trees and high country near Cooke City to run the with the dogs through the Beartooth Pass. Hearty trail side lunch included.
SNOWCOACH TRANSPORT TO OLD FAITHFUL Yellowstone in winter is a fairyland of steaming hot springs and spouting geysers combined with ice and sparkling snow. Old Faithful rewards hearty souls with views of ice rimmed ghost trees, turquoise hot pools and geysers that seem to erupt diamonds. This is a full day activity starting at 7:30 am and returning at 6:00 pm.
HOT SPRINGS ADMISSION experience ultimate relaxation with a dip in natural mineral hot springs. The small pool averages 104 degrees, and the large one averages 96 degrees. Guests can soak their cares away from 6 am until midnight, every day of the year. There is also a fine dining restaurant on-site that stands out as one of the region’s best restaurants.
