YOUR CUSTOMIZABLE ITINERARY:

ONE NIGHT conveniently located in the heart of Jackson, just six blocks from the town square, where you are close to the key sights, but away from the crowds. Rather than your standard hotel room, you will stay in an individual log cabin with two queen beds, a sofa sleeper, kitchenette, covered deck with BBQ grill, wi-fi, cable TV, telephone and custom log furniture. Guests come back, year after year, not only for the location and friendly staff but for the amenities, including a covered swimming pool, hot tub, exercise room, business center and guest laundry.

CHUCK WAGON COOKOUT & WESTERN SHOW will bring you back to the 1800’s as you climb aboard a horse-drawn covered wagon and ride to an outdoor dining room on the bank of a clear mountain stream in beautiful Cache Creek Canyon. Your dinner includes roast beef, barbecued chicken, corn on the cob, Dutch oven baked beans, green salad, rolls, coffee, lemonade and brownies. Top off your evening whoopin’ it up with the singing Cowboys, Indians and Mountain Man.

TWO NIGHTS at a delightful family-owned hotel at the north entrance to Yellowstone, situated on the banks of the Yellowstone River with spectacular mountain and river views. This small, down-to-earth gateway city is less commercialized than others and is often referred to as the “Elk Capital of the World” with frequent in-town wildlife sightings. Stay in a beautiful, carefully remodeled room with two queen-size beds, private bathroom, flat screen TV, mini-fridge and AC. Second floor rooms available with great views of Yellowstone and Electric Peak! Resort amenities include high speed internet, basketball court, large picnic area, indoor pool and free continental breakfast.

GUIDED WHITE WATER RAFTING TRIP Located on the banks of the Yellowstone River near Gardiner, Montana, your 7 mile stretch travels through the scenic beauty and Class III rapids of Yankee Jim Canyon – the premier whitewater stretch of the Yellowstone River. First, enjoy a calm scenic stretch to get acquainted with the guide, boat and paddling. Next, paddle  the best white water stretch through Yankee Jim Canyon. Finish up with a hop in the river, rafting games, or just revel in the natural beauty surrounding you. Depending on river flow, this trip takes between two and three hours. Ages 6 and up.

TWO NIGHTS centralized between Yellowstone & Cody at an authentic Wyoming Guest Ranch.  Stay in a rustic cowboy cabin, featuring western decor, two queen beds, a daybed, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and an outdoor porch for relaxing (no TV or telephone). The ranch also has fishing equipment, lounge, game room, fire pit and a gentle creek running through the property.

ONE ALL-INCLUSIVE DAY Your all-inclusive day at the ranch includes a hearty breakfast, 4-hour horse back ride with trail side lunch – cooked over an open fire, and a gourmet dinner in the dining room. Your horse back ride features beautiful Alpine meadows and dense forests, clear streams and high country vistas. Wildlife sightings range from chipmunks and squirrels to moose, elk, deer, bear or stray buffalo. The horses and cowboys are very familiar with the terrain and well trained and have taken thousands of rides over hundreds of miles. Rides are small and intimate, to provide each guest with memories that will last a lifetime.

PROFESSIONAL RODEO TICKETS Experience a truly Western event that has its roots in ranch contests and games as well as spectacle and drama borrowed from the world famous Buffalo Bill Wild West shows. Hold on and enjoy as the cowboys and cowgirls go from calf ropin’ to full on bull ridin’ and see why Cody is known as the Rodeo Capital of the World. Your tickets are general admission, so you have the opportunity to sit in the Buzzard Roost – right above the bucking chutes!

TWO NIGHTS at a modernized hotel in Thermopolis, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, in Hot Springs State Park, next to the Wyoming Dinosaur Museum and a small water park.  Enjoy immaculate accommodations with a king or two double beds, work desk, TV, wi-fi, coffee maker, hair dryer and balcony overlooking the outdoor pool. Enjoy a dip in the natural mineral hot springs tub, take a walk through the park and enjoy continental breakfast each morning.

FULL DAY DINOSAUR DIG Discover, collect, and document Jurassic fossils with paleo-technicians at the Warm Springs Ranch. The picturesque red hills at the northern end of the Wind River Canyon are known for some of the largest dinosaur fossil quarries in the world. As a participant, you gain hands-on experience at current sites and participate in fossil stabilization and excavation, quarry mapping, and documentation. All activities are designed to assist in current scientific research projects. At noon you will break for a sack lunch on site, then continue with your digging. You may return to the center earlier on one of the hourly tour buses, if necessary. At the end of the day, enjoy a tour through the museum and the opportunity to clean and prepare bones evacuated from your site. Recommended for ages 6 and above.

ONE NIGHT in the Grand Teton National Park surrounded by pine trees and the majestic beauty of the Grand Teton Mountain Range. Stay in an authentic Jackson Hole homestead cabin, refurbished to today’s standard with a full bath and two double beds and one twin bed. *Please note, rooms do not have televisions or radios.* Facilities here include plenty of outdoor recreation, with horseback riding, lake cruises, fishing, hiking, guided tours, Native American history museum and two restaurants.

We guarantee this package will provide amazing scenery, educational and historic adventures, clean and comfortable accommodations, relaxing family fun and stress-free planning. Accommodations are subject to availability.
