Here we answer some of our most commonly asked questions. Always feel free to give us a call anytime, with any question.


IS THIS A GUIDED TOUR?

For the most part, no. Some of our activities may include a guide. However we provide priceless information that will guide you through your vacation. This includes planning the quickest and most exciting route and marking city and state maps for you. We will also send you an unstructured itinerary that acts as a step-by-step guide to all your accommodations and activities.

CAN YOU BOOK FLIGHTS OR CAR RENTALS?

Unfortunately we are unable to book your transportation to and from the Wild West. However we can provide information on local airports and rental agencies. Most of our clients find that renting a car is the best way to get around. We can also customize your vacation with accommodations in any city you fly into.

HOW DO WE BOOK OUR VACATION?

If you are interested in booking a vacation package online or one that has been custom designed, all you have to do is call or email us. We will then set up a customized vacation package specific to your family, dates, interests and time frame. When you are satisfied with the accommodations and activities selected for your family, we need a written or verbal commitment. As soon as we receive your commitment, all reservations will be made.

WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT PROCESS?

When you are ready to book your vacation, we require 50% of your total package price as a deposit. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you the finalized dates, locations, confirmation numbers and even mileage for your trip. You will be able to view your finalized vacation package online for easy reference. Your final payment is due 60 days after your vacation is booked. When we receive your final payment we will send out your Wild West Vacation Packet containing: a copy of your invoice, all lodging and activity vouchers, an unstructured itinerary, an area guidebook, marked maps, informational print-outs and more! If you are planning a vacation less than 45 days prior to your arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

DO YOU PROVIDE TRAVEL INSURANCE?

We do not currently offer travel insurance, please refer to our cancellation policy. Being a small business we are able to work with you on a case-by-case basis. We have great relationships with our outfitters and often times can get those fees waived, depending on timing and reason for cancellation.

WHAT IF WE NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE OUR VACATION?

Wild West Vacations and Travel books all reservations and pays deposits on same. If, for any reason, you must cancel your vacation, please do so by email, phone, or letter at least 30 days prior to your date of arrival. If you wish to reschedule, any monies previously paid will be applied to your rescheduled vacation. However, this does not guarantee package price will remain the same. Because of high season and low season rates your final price may fluctuate from that of the originally scheduled package. Please note, once your vacation is finalized, last minute rescheduling, cancellations or changes are subject to a $100 fee. If you do have to cancel your vacation and do not want it rescheduled, you will receive a full refund from us of any monies you have sent minus 10% for booking fees. Additionally any cancellation fees charged by hotels and other vendors will also be deducted from your refund. Upon request, we will send you a copy of each of your scheduled hotels cancellation requirements. Wild West Vacations and Travel is not responsible for any loss to you of any fees, or any other expenses incurred by you for late cancellations.
